This week’s instalment of Music Monday is Stay with Me by Sam Smith from his 2014 debut studio album, In the Lonely Hour. Apparently, Sam Smith’s song was just a little too much like Tom Petty‘s hit, I Won’t Back Down, from his 1989 solo debut album, Full Moon Fever, that Tom and Jeff Lynne now have songwriting credit on Smith’s song. But Tom’s cool with the whole situation, and I’ll let you compare.
